The 12 images in this exhibition were originally designed as 12 stations to be displayed along the north and south aisles of Bristol Cathedral. They were produced on a large scale on backlit film, and created an illuminated walk through the building.
 
The digital compositions refer to specific biblical texts, using segments of old masters such as Rembrandt and Bassano, photographs and sketches. They depict the people-oriented story of Jesus' last hours, one where scenes are multi-layered, with many character interplays, emotional and spiritual exchanges, political and biblical symbols.
 
First exhibited at Bristol Cathedral in April 2006, sponsored by Bible Society. Toured to Christ Church Clifton in successive years as part of their Easter programme for local schools.
